Well it was quite a Sunday in Houston. Beau Hossler played tremendously all week for us and on Sunday he looked calm and composed all the way through the round and put his foot on the gas down the stretch at just the right time.

It really did look like we’d secured a great 150-1 winner but it was cruelly snatched away from us by Poults when he holed from…

Houston Open

HOUSTON OPEN

A so so sort of week for us in the end at the WGC Matchplay and Corales Puntacana events.

We had no joy with our outright picks at the WGC with J Thomas disappointingly falling to Bubba in the Semi Finals, but we recouped back some of our outlay from the daily match bets.

Meanwhile over in the Dominican Republic Kraft brought us a full place…

Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship

Whilst the games elite will be chasing the mega bucks down in Austin, Texas this week the lesser lights of the PGA Tour will be teeing it up in the snappily titled Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship as the PGA Tour makes its debut stop in the Dominican Republic.

The field from a betting perspective is headed…

So my fortnight in the sunshine has come to an end and whilst I didn’t get the result I was hoping for to round of the trip it was fantastic to watch Rory in full flight on Sunday.

Rose threw pretty much everything at him but ultimately Rory had one of those rounds that we all know he’s capable of producing at times, and when he does…

Whilst it wasn’t unfortunately our week on the picks front I had a great time personally in Palm Harbor at the Copperhead course.

The weather was good [all be it cold on Thursday!] and the howling gales and storms potentially predicted for Sunday never materialised. As for the golf, Tiger’s performance was sensational. I for one am looking…

So a cracking week for us in the end in Mexico with Phil getting a well deserved first victory in nearly 5yrs. His play had been so solid over the recent weeks that you could definitely see this coming and I was delighted to see him back in the winners circle.

He was pushed all the way by another of our picks, Justin Thomas who showed again…

WGC - Mexico Championship Picks

WGC – Mexico Championship

For the third week running Sunday proved a frustrating day for us at the Honda, with both of our men in the hunt, Noren and Fleetwood, coming up marginally short.

Still, we again made a nice e/w profit on the week so it certainly wasn’t all bad news!

Our 350-1 shot Bozzelli also played really nicely to finish 13th. Unfortunately…

It was a slightly frustrating end to the week for us at the Genesis Open with Cam Smith unable to put a concerted effort together on Sunday and Phil [as was the case last week] leaving himself with just a bit too much to do in the final round.

Still, we got some e/w returns, which all but covered our stakes and in addition our ‘trader’ Aaron…

Genesis Open Picks

Genesis Open

It was a good week for us in Pebble Beach with Phil and Streelman in particular playing very nicely, unfortunately though Ted Potter Jnr just played too well and all credit too him. Still we made a good e/w profit on the week and our Trader Jaeger played well also so I’m not complaining.

Ted Potter Jnr is certainly a player to keep an eye on when in…

AT & T Pebble Beach Pro Am Picks

It was a funny old week in Phoenix for us which ultimately ended in disappointment with Rickie fading away on Sunday. JJ Spaun withdrew with injury and the rest of the team played poorly. One of those weeks basically!

Moving on the tour heads back to California and up the coast to Pebble Beach for the AT & T Pro Am.

The field is a strong one this week with players no doubt starting…
